No Excuses – Except Lightning Monday & Wednesday Group Workouts

All running levels are welcome to join the FREE groups. We always meet whether it’s a holiday or bad weather. No Excuses!

Bring your own water. Dress appropriately for the weather.

Meet informally to warm-up around 5:45pm and then start the workout together at 6pm sharp. Drills, choice of short and long workouts (or any combination), cool down, and group stretching. Usually done around 7pm. Workout distances completely up to you. Suggested workouts offered. Most people do 1-4 miles of intervals. Wed hill workout about every 4-5 weeks.

Monday workout location is at Cedar Valley Middle School track: It is north of 620 in Round Rock, is between Great Oaks Drive and Cornerwood Drive in the Cat Hollow subdivision at 8139 Racine Trail. Meet on the track.

Wednesday workout location is at Brushy Creek Lake Park: If you are traveling north on Parmer. Cross over 620. Pass Avery Ranch (it is on the right). Cross over the bridge and turn right at the light (at Shell station). This is Brushy Creek Road… go about 200 yards and the entrance is on the right. Park near the restrooms and we meet at the pavilion near the playground and restrooms.

We are always there even if it is a holiday.  In over 9 years we have only cancelled 3 times due to lightning.  The more the merrier!
