Georgetown Turkey Trot

The Georgetown Running Club and Sertoma are hosting the Georgetown Turkey Trot.  Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to come out and run on the roads and trails in Georgetown and finishing at beautiful Blue Hole.  The race will feature a timed 5 mile run/walk with 5 year age group awards, sponsor booths, and tons of fun!  Fun course that is ideal for the walker to the competitive runner and everything in between.  Great for strollers too!!  There will be a Kids’ Fun Run too!

Proceeds will be shared between the Williamson County Meals on Wheels and Friends of Georgetown Parks and Recreation (Park Pals).  We will also be collecting nonperishable food for The Caring Place.

Registration

Race participants $30 online, includes a race packet and shirt (guaranteed long sleeve tech shirt for entries received by 11/14, after that while supplies last).  Entry fee increases to $35 on Nov 23.  Online registration ends Tuesday, 26th, but entries accepted at packet pick-up and race day. Entry increases to $40 on race day, Nov 28th.  All Georgetown Running Club members receive a $5 discount.  All Austin Running Club members receive a $1 discount.

Shirt Guarantee

Guaranteed shirt for entries received by 11/14, after that while supplies last, so register before 11/14.  You must also pick up your shirt at packet pick-up.  No shirts will be held after the event.

Awards

Presented to top overall male and female runners, top masters male and female, and the top three in 5 year age categories from 10 and under to 70 and older.  No duplication of awards.  Over 80 awards to be given out!

Kids’ Fun Run

Following the Turkey Trot there will be a Kids’ Fun Run.  Sign up will be on race morning and is free however donations will be greatly appreciated.  All children will receive a ribbon upon completion.

Packet Pick-up

Wednesday, Nov 27th, Georgetown Visitor’s Center, Georgetown, Texas from 11am-5pm;

Thursday, Nov 28th at the race start, Blue Hole Park (W. Second St & Rock St.), from 6:30am-7:45am
